Machine Shop Equipment

Our machine shops contain a number of computer controlled four axis vertical machining centers and milling systems for the machining of a variety of parts.  A partial listing of the major pieces of equipment in our machine show are listed below. 

Star SR20RII CNC Swiss Auto Turning Machine - 20mm diameter bar capacity, high pressure coolant.  Fully automated, eliminating secondary operations and handling resulting in repetitive orientation of holes, slots, etc. All machining operations are accomplished within the machine for outstanding accuracy and control -- turning, milling, drilling, deburring, etc.

OKK VM5 II Vertical Machining Center - 40” x 20” working capacity.  Geared head, boxway machine with Hyper HQ mode II Mitsubishi controller for high speed, high accuracy metal removal.  Also equipped with a Chipblaster JV8-1000  high pressure coolant delivery system.  This system will deliver up to 1000 psi of machine coolant thru drills as small as 1mm in diameter for drilling incredibly accurate holes to 10 times diameter deep and beyond.

Fadal 3016L Vertical Machining Center - 30” x 16” working capacity.  Fully integrated 4th axis.   

Mori Seiki SL150SY Turning Cente - 12” diam. X 14” long turning capacity. 1-3/4” barfeed cap.  Configured with live tooling, Y axis and sub-spindle.  Parts catcher and parts conveyor allow for fully automated, unattended operation. System complete with Iemca VIP70S CNC barfeeder - Magazine style bar feeder.  Fully integrated with Mori Seiki SL150SY Turning center.

Mori Seiki SL2500SMC Turning Center- 16” diam. X 25” long turning capacity - 30HP   Live tooling, sub-spindle, parts catcher and parts conveyor for unattended operation.  

Okamoto ACC 6-18 DX3 Surface Grinder - Precision automatic surface grinder.  50 millionths resolution downfeed.

YCI Supermax 3 axis CNC knee mill.  Can be run both manual or full CNC  

Accufinish Series II Precision Diamond Grinder  - Equipped with Meiji stereo zoom microscope.  

W.F. Wells horizontal bandsaw

Clausing Colchester 15” variable speed toolroom lathe.
